Calgary Islands of Peace Interfaith Picnic

At our first Islands of Peace Interfaith Picnic on 23rd August 2025, held in the backyard of the Dalhousie Community Association, we brought together people from diverse faith and cultural backgrounds to share a day of community, dialogue, and connection. Everyone engaged in meaningful conversations, exchanged stories, and built new friendships, fostering bridges of understanding across traditions.

This gathering was more than just a picnic — it was a celebration of diversity, peace, and unity. Events like this highlight the importance of interfaith dialogue and remind us that our differences become strengths when embraced with respect and openness.
